Reservations

We respectfully remind our guests that verbal, written or electronic reservations constitute a legal binding contract.

Deposit/Credit Card

A deposit or credit card details are required to secure an accommodation booking.

Surcharge

Best Available Rates: In the event the guests are to cancel their bookings, they need to do so at least 24 hours before they are due to check in. We reserve the right to charge one night’s accommodation to the credit card number supplied if the terms are not being followed.

Prepaid Flexi-date Rates: Prepaid Rate bookings are charged at the time of booking, discount only available on select dates and must be booked at least 14 days prior to arrival. Rate is prepaid and non-refundable; you may re-book for an alternative date but must pay any difference in rate. If room rate is lower, no refund applies.

Pre-Authorisation

We reserve the right to preauthorise the credit card supplied with the booking. The pre-authorisation is not a charge and no funds have been debits from your account until check out.

Cancellation Policy

Payment

All accommodation must be paid in full on the day of arrival, incidentals can be paid on departure.

If guests fail to supply us with credit card details, then we require a cash/eftpos payment upon check-in. If full payment is made by cash, eftpos, or debit card, a NZD$100.00 bond is required at check in which will be refunded upon check out should there be no further charges. 

If guests fail to settle the payments, we reserve the right to charge the unpaid amount to the credit card number supplied.

Any late payments may incur penalty fees and collection costs.

Guests

All guests of our accommodation facilities shall be over 18 years of age or accompanied by legal guardian(s) or approved by management. 

We request quietness between the hours of 9pm and 7am.  Please be thoughtful of your fellow guests at all times.  Management reserves the right to cancel the accommodation at any time of any person or group who in the opinion of management behaves in an objectionable manner and contravenes The Grosvenor rules, with no refund of fees paid.

Guests shall be held fully accountable and liable for their behaviour and damages caused.

All non-house guests are requested to vacate the complex by 9 pm.

Pets

Pets are not allowed at the Grosvenor unless pre-approved by the management.

Damage

We reserve the right to charge to replace, repair or professionally clean all items concerned and guests shall be financially liable to cover these costs if required. This may include charges for loss of revenue to The Grosvenor, by way of room being unavailable to let whilst awaiting repair and management fee for loss of productivity and project managing (including false fire and smoke alarms).

Losing your key and security system shall result in a charge of $50 being added to your account or an account sent to you at a later time.

Arrival/Departure Times.

Check out time is 10am.

Late departure times may be possible upon request, but we cannot guarantee this and a late fee of $40 will be added to your account.

Earliest check-in time is 2pm (except where prior arrangement is made with management).

Smoking Policy

All rooms are non-smoking.

Parking

Use of the Grosvenor’s car park is restricted to in house guests only.

General

It is forbidden to use or store any kind of drugs or firearms at The Grosvenor.

We are entitled, by law, to inform the New Zealand Police in a case of suspicion or violation to this law.

Furthermore, the guests will be blacklisted permanently from the Grosvenor.
